Solución al problema de registro en War Rock usando un proxy

Hace ya un tiempo comentaba sobre el juego War Rock (un FPS multijugador). Pues, pese a algunos problemas de registro de algunas personas, la cosa iba bien. Aunque hace un tiempo War Rock bloquea el registro de personas que se conectan desde ciertos países, probablemente porque están con los servidores saturados y deben priorizar el registro de personas de ciertos lados del mundo más «convenientes» para ellos (afrontémoslo, los jugadores de esta parte del mundo no les generamos muchas ganancias).
¿Cómo lo hacen? Sencillo, cuando tu navegas por algún lado, el servidor web obtiene tu dirección IP (para decirlo en forma simple, un número que te identifica en la red). Con la dirección IP es posible saber desde qué país te conectas. Entonces, detectan que no eres de un país que les conviene, y te muestran el mensaje que dice que no soportan servidores en tu área.
Para solucionar esto, podemos engañarlos utilizando un proxy mediante el cual podamos navegar en forma anónima. ¿Qué es lo que hace el proxy? Pues, resumiendo, oculta tu dirección IP: tu te conectas al proxy (el proxy sabe quién eres), navegas a la página web utilizando el proxy (la página web cree que quien se conecta es el proxy, desde una IP de un país admitido). Te registras y listo.
Por ejemplo, para saber tu IP visita la página http://www.whatsmyip.org/ verás tu dirección IP real
Ahora prueba visitándola a través de un proxy verás que ahora tu dirección IP es aparentemente otra.
Para registrarnos en War Rock, utilizaremos http://www.hidemyass.com/ , en la caja de texto, introducimos la dirección de la página de registro de War Rock: http://www.warrock.net/register.php y completamos el registro en forma normal.
Con esto engañamos a War Rock y podremos registrarnos.
Utilizar un proxy también nos sirve para navegar en forma anónima por otras páginas (por ejemplo para que no se enteren en el trabajo qué páginas visitamos), aunque la navegación es un poco más lenta.
Nota 1: Una vez más, no recomiendo registrarse con direcciones de Hotmail, pues al parecer dan problemas. Yo he probado con Gmail y no da ningún problema, el e-mail de verificación llega al instante.
Nota 2: Con esto consigues registrarte en War Rock, hace tiempo que no entro, así que no se si es que en el juego en si bloquean las IPs de ciertos países.

Caros amigos,
Instalei uma versão do jogo WarRock na minha máquina e deu um problema do arquivo VS.zip. Baixei então o arquivo WR_PATCH_3.6_SubLU.exe e depois ele começou a fazer o downloads dos arquivos de atualização. Após término do downloads eu dei um boot na máquina e em seguida executei o jogo. Ele foi carregado e ao abrir pede um password e senha. Gostaria de saber como faço pra ter meu Login e Senha para que possa logar no jogo. Estou em Salvador-Ba Brasil.

Nicolás, me parece que el juego detecta por tu IP que te conectas desde Argentina al momento de entrar. Es decir, no interesa si te registraste usando un IP de EEUU.
Por cierto, han probado el America’s Army? Es on-line y gratuito, lo hace el ejército de EEUU.

El Servidor español fue retirado y no hay manera de conectarse a un server yanki o europeo.

registrarse es una cosa poder ver los servidores del juego es otra.
aunque te registres no podras ver los servidores de WarRock debido al filtro.
sin embargo existe un programa que te deja conectar a acualquier servidor de warrock sin importar en que pais estes.

sale la explicacion debes hacerte una account y al pie de la pagina aparece el comentario es muy facil, y si logras acceder utilizas router y no aparece nada al introducir tu ID hay un programa el «warrock proxy 1.1»
io soy de sudamerica y tuve todos esos problemas tube k buscar en una pag con acceso de proxy por k introduciendo una proxy al navegador no sirve por k en los formularios se solicita un license el cual no pasa.

yo pude registrarme acá lez explico:
Primero deben bajar un programita llamado «Hide the IP» (está en todas las páginas para bajar programas) es muy fácil de usar, i com odice el título esconde tu ip com osi tuvieses otra.
Bueno al ahcer esto intenté, tengo el mozila, diréctamente a la pag http://www.warrock.net/register.php pero no me escondía la ip por mas q el mozila decía q si, es decir en la página decía q era de argentina…
Después de tanto probar i no me qdaba mas nada por hacer lo probé en el internet explorer, donde ahi, todavía no me explico, si me aparecía como q era de otro país (depende del proxy q nos haya cambiado el programa «Hide the IP»). Tengo mail en gmail i no tuve problemas en validar mi registro (siempre por internet explorer).
Pero tengo otro problema como muchos, entro al juego, pongo mi nick i contraseña…pero no me aparece ningún server!!
aún sigo buscando espero encontrar una solución, si alguien sabe porfaaaaaa 😀

bueno chicos la verdad es que los creadores de este juego de cierta
forma discrimina a la mayoria de paises latinoamericanos, yo
tuve el mismo inconveniente por ser peruano, pero no me di
por vencido y estuve investigando como crear cuenta desde mi
país, eso me llevo a enmascarar mi ip, por que el sistema
reconoce tu ip y por lo tanto tu país, para lo cual sigan
los siguientes pasos
internet explorer/herramientas/opciones de internet/conexiones
/configuración LAN/CLIK EN PROXY PARA SU LAN y tuve que buscar ip
con puertos de paises admitidos como mexico entren a este link

aceptar y aceptar en las ventanas y lo configure el sistema me
leio como mexicano en mi caso y acepto mi incripción, aunque demora un monton
en bajar la pagina oficial y la inscripción lo consegui solo tienen que entrar
al registro de la pagina oficial, se recomienda que
tengan gmail llega al toque. buenos amigos es un poco de mis conocimientos
que puedo compartir con ustedes, ahora solo estoy esperando jugar ya que el
servidor esta siendo reparado, ah me olvidaba solo tienen que entrar por los
pasos anteriores y borrar el ip y puerto para recuperar su configuración.

El juego no funciona por la simple razon k lo k dice ahi arriba es una tonteria
registrarse al juego se puede hacer sin necesidad de usar ningun proxy web
el problema es k al entrar al juego este tiene servidores por regiones (paises) y muchos paises no estan soportados por lo tanto no aparece ningun servidor
DE REGISTRO NO TIENE NINGUN PROBLEMA EL JUEGO…. EL PROBLEMA ES PARA CONECTARSE A UN SERVIDOR (y eso no se resuelve tan facil)
